Call for Applications: Capacity Building for Industry Demand-Based TVET in Uganda

Six-month short courses training is supported by the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) as a partner organization with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). KCCI & KOICA. Project aim: “The Project of Capacity Building for Industry Demand-Based TVET in Uganda 2020-2027” in order to cultivate TVET system for strengthening the employability of youth in Uganda.


This course provides customized training to meet the demands of field industries and enforces systematic practice for building up the field application ability. The institute has modern training equipment, machinery, and skillful staff has been trained by Korean Experts.

OBJECTIVE:

To cultivate industry demand based TVET system aimed at equipping the youth with skills and competencies on demand in the world of work.

APPLY NOW at;

  1. Ntinda Vocational Training Institute,
  2. Arua Training Institute,
  3. Kiryandongo Training Institute,
  4. Mubende Training Institute,
  5. Nyakatare Training Institute,
  6. Iganga Training Iinstitute.

NOTE: Classes begin from January to June in 2023.

Courses:

  1. Fashion and Garment design;
  2. Welding and Fabrication;
  3. Plumbing;
  4. Automotive Mechanics;
  5. Electrical Installation Systems and Maintenance.

Fully sponsored skilled based training and field-oriented industrial training at various partner industries and companies will be conducted.

Application and admission deadline: 16th December, 2022.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. National Identification Card,
  2. Academic documents (P.L.E, UACE or Level 2 certificate of completion),
  3. LC endorsed Letter,
