Summary: The Health Ministry, in collaboration with partners, has expressed readiness to handle the influx of thousands of pilgrims expected at this year’s Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations at Namugongo on June 3. They have deployed over 200 medical and health personnel, along with 40 ambulances, to support both national and international efforts in delivering quality health services before and during the event.

Data from the Education Ministry indicates that capitation grants have been increased by UGX 7b to cover the unutilised balances. This followed the verification of learners who details had been questioned.
