Summary: The Works Ministry and the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) have started implementing President Museveni’s directive to sack 152 staff who were reportedly recruited irregularly. In a letter to Works and Transport Minister, Gen. Katumba Wamala dated 25, June 2025, the President demanded the immediate sacking of the staff after he got information that they were hired on account of fake academic qualifications.
