Join Kiira Motors Corporation, the Science, Technology & Innovation Secretariat - Office of the President (STI-OP), Government Citizen Interaction Centre (GCIC), and the Presidential CEO Forum for a dynamic two-day experience showcasing the future of electric mobility, investment opportunities, and innovation shaping Africa's transportation landscape.

The National E-Mobility Expo 2025 is a transformative event in Uganda, designed to accelerate the country's transition to a green, energy-efficient mobility ecosystem and consolidate its position as a regional leader in Mobility, Energy, and Technology for sustainable development.

It is the second edition of the Expo, building on the success of the inaugural event held on August 14, 2025.

The Expo serves as an unparalleled platform for thought leadership, high-level networking, investment opportunities, showcasing innovation, and policy dialogue. It aims at showcasing Ugandan innovation, catalysing investment, advancing policy frameworks, promoting public awareness and adoption, empowering local talent, and fostering regional collaboration.

The National E-Mobility Expo 2025 will take place on the 18th and 19th of September 2025, at Kiira Vehicle Plant in Jinja.

Highlights include a keynote address on “The State of the E-Mobility Ecosystem: Uganda’s Readiness to Power Innovation, Accelerate Industrialization, and Shape Africa’s Green Future.”

In addition, the Expo will host two expert-led panel sessions

  • “Financing the Future: Investment Strategies for Scaling E-Mobility in Africa”
  • “Building the Backbone: Infrastructure and Local Manufacturing for Sustainable E-Mobility Growth”

Yes, test drive opportunities will be available for select electric vehicles exhibited at the National E-Mobility Expo 2025. Participation will be limited to qualified individuals who present valid identification and a valid driver’s license. All test drives will be conducted under the supervision of trained personnel and in accordance with established safety protocols.
