On the 8th of January, 2022, the Minister for Works and Transport, Hon. Gen. Katumba Wamala, finally launched the toll services on the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway. Many years of a free ride had come to an end.
However, there are a few emerging issues that surround this new service ranging from non-compliance by some drivers, high toll fees, etc.
